RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1.OUR COMMITMENT

Perfume Me, operated by RSRS General Trading Company W.L.L., (Commercial License No. 2019/34956), State of Kuwait, takes pride in crafting high-quality, custom-prepared fragrance products tailored to each individual order.
 
All Perfume Me products are prepared, finalized, or filled specifically after payment confirmation based on the customer’s selected fragrance, format, and quantity.
 
Due to their personalized and hygiene-sensitive nature, Perfume Me products are considered custom-prepared goods.
Perfume Me is an independent fragrance brand. Our products fall within the inspired fragrance category and are independently produced. While certain scent characteristics may resemble well-known fragrance profiles, our products are not replicas, and individual perception, longevity, and performance may vary.
 
2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14-DAY PERIOD)
In accordance with applicable consumer regulations, customers may request return within 14 days of receiving the product, subject to the conditions below. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
However, because Perfume Me products are custom-prepared upon order and fall within hygiene-sensitive cosmetic goods, the right of withdrawal does not apply where:
  • The product has been opened,
  • The product seal has been broken,
  • The product has been used,
  • The product was custom-prepared specifically for the customer,
  • The product cannot be resold for hygiene and safety reasons.
Withdrawal rights are therefore limited strictly to unused, unopened products, unless a confirmed defect exists.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

A return or refund will only be considered if ALL of the following conditions are met:
  • The product is defective, damaged upon delivery, or incorrect (wrong item shipped).
  • The request is submitted within 14 days of receipt.
  • The product remains unused, unopened, and in its original packaging (unless reporting a confirmed defect). Returns that do not meet all conditions will not be approved.

4. NON-ELIGIBLE CASES

Returns and refunds will NOT be accepted in the following cases:
  • The product has been opened, sprayed, tested, or used.
  • The product does not meet the customer’s personal preference or expectation.
  • The scent differs from expectations or comparison to other fragrances.
  • Variations in fragrance perception, longevity, projection, or intensity.
  • Requests submitted after 14 days.
  • Minor packaging variations.
  • Products custom-prepared per order, unless defective or incorrect.
Fragrance perception is subjective and varies based on skin chemistry, environment, and personal sensitivity. Personal dissatisfaction does not constitute a defect.

5. HYGIENE & PRODUCT INTEGRITY

Due to hygiene and safety standards: opened fragrance products cannot be returned unless confirmed defective after inspection. This policy protects product integrity and customer safety.

6. REFUND PROCESS

Refunds are processed only after:
  • The returned item is received,
  • The product is inspected,
  • Eligibility is confirmed.
If approved:
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Banking or transaction fees may be deducted where applicable.
If the returned product is found ineligible (e.g., used, opened, damaged by customer), it will be returned to the customer at their expense.

7. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect product).
  • International customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees associated with the return shipment.
Perfume Me is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.

8. SPECIAL CASES

Incorrect Product
If you receive an incorrect product, please keep it unopened and contact us immediately. We will arrange replacement or refund upon verification.
Damaged During Shipping
If your product arrives damaged:
  • Retain all original packaging.
  • Provide clear photos.
  • Contact us within 48 hours.
Confirmed Defect
If inspection confirms a manufacturing defect:
  • A replacement will be offered where available.
  • A refund will be provided if replacement is unavailable.

9. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

Include:
  • Order number
  • Full name
  • Contact details
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)
Incomplete requests may delay processing.

10. PROCESSING TIME

  • Returned items are inspected upon receipt.
  • Approval or rejection notification will be sent.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.
  • Bank processing times may vary.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All transactions are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Customers are encouraged to contact our support team before initiating formal disputes so we may resolve the matter efficiently.
